Indian institute of technology popularly known as IITs are prestigious engineering college in India. Every student eager to get a seat in any of these colleges through IIT-JEE examination.
As it is one of the toughest exam, students start their preparation from 11th. Some of the student start preparing for IIT-JEE exam from class 9th. For better preparation students should start preparing from class 11th as it is a base year for the exam.
Here are some strategy that you can follow to prepare IIT-JEE exam from class 11:
Exam pattern and syllabus:
We must have some ideas about the IIT-JEE examination:
- About the subjects and topic they asked.
- What is the weightage of every chapter.
- Exam pattern.
- Previous years questions.
Paper pattern for IIT-JEE exam:
- Objective type question with multiple choice answer.
- Questions comes from three subject Physics, chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage.
- Students get 3hrs to answers the questions.
Subject Wise Analyzation:
As we know in IIT-JEE examination questions comes from three subjects Physics, Chemistry & Maths. let’s talk about them one by one.
It covers areas like electrodynamics, Mechanics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, Optics etc.
Go through previous years papers and make a chat of topic wise weightage. Like mechanics use to be first choice of question setter followed by Error and Measurements, fluids, gravitation, Modern Physics, optics etc.

The subject incorporate Physical, Organic and Inorganic chemistry.
Maximum questions come from Kinetics and Chemical equilibrium. thermodynamics and electrochemistry questions are less in number. P-block elements questions that comes under Inorganic chemistry brings more questions

The first and last thing anyone can suggest you about mathematics preparation is to practice, practice and practice. Differential Calculus followed by Co-ordinate geometry is covering more weightage in IIT-JEE examination question.
Permutation & Combination and Probability is least favorite for question setter.

Make a study plan:
Make a pragmatic study plan that includes daily or weekly goal, Subjects and chapters to focus first, fix time for revision and Mock test. Always examine your mock test after taking it to know about your weaknesses and sections to improve.
You must have a time table for each and everything.
Focus on basic concept:
As in IIT-JEE examination questions come from basic concept, you have to focus on basic concept of each topic. NCERT books are primary books to understand basic concepts.
While studying always make notes of that topic that will help you in your revision.
Keep yourself Motivated:
As IIT-JEE exam if one of the toughest examination of India, it will make you fill tired. Many things come in your path to distract you but have to motivate yourself and keep yourself positive.
Doing Yoga, meditation, play sports and give some time to your hobby can rejuvenate you.
